Conservation/Service Projects
The Red Trail Wanderers (Onteora Alumni Association) and the LIGTC offer scheduled conservation and trail improvement projects. The committee members working on the projects are all registered Boy Scouts with adult leader training.
Note: All events require pre-registration. Enrollment is limited.
What to Bring
Essential Items

- • Small trash bag
- • Insect repellent
- • Eye protection
- • Work gloves
Recommended Tools
- • Pin bar
- • Crow bar
- • Hammer
- • Shovel
We can supply some tools for those who don't have the above items.
Important: Dress appropriately to reduce ticks and contact with poison ivy.
